Aston Martin DBX GT Puts Luxury Ahead of Aggression
The new GT keeps the 717 hp V8 of the DBX S but adds quieter cabins, softer seats and clever chassis tuning.
Aston Martin has added a DBX GT to its SUV range, a more luxurious interpretation aimed at buyers who prefer refinement to overt sportiness. It uses the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as the DBX S, with 717 hp and 664 lb-ft, and matches that car's 3.1-second 0-60 mph time and 193 mph top speed.
The differences lie in how it rides and how it feels inside. A dedicated suspension setup pairs a damper valve system tuned for body control with active spring rates that vary by drive mode and actively shifting roll stiffness in corners, while filtering high-frequency vibration from rough surfaces. Extra sound deadening, laminated rear side glass and deep-pile carpets contribute to a claimed 13 percent improvement in how easily occupants can converse.
The seats are redesigned with additional cushioning, reshaped bolsters, bespoke embroidery and a memory-foam layer, and a panoramic glass roof is standard. Outside there is a new double-vaned grille with integrated running lights, a two-piece side strake and 22-inch forged wheels, with 23-inch options.
US pricing is not confirmed, though a spokesperson suggested buyers could speculate at around 262,000 dollars. First deliveries are due in the fourth quarter of 2026.
