Porsche delivered 178,532 cars worldwide in the first nine months of 2026, 16 percent fewer than the 212,509 handed over a year earlier. The third quarter continued the trend established in the first half as the company sticks to its value-over-volume approach in a difficult market.

The 911 was the bright spot, rising 12 percent to 42,217 deliveries, the only model line to grow. The Cayenne remained the best seller at 59,586, down 2 percent, including 7,002 of the new all-electric version. The Macan fell 21 percent following the end of combustion production, while the Panamera and Taycan dropped 35 and 31 percent. The 718 Boxster and Cayman, now out of production, fell 79 percent.

Regionally, North America remained the largest market at 56,088 cars, down 13 percent, reflecting the 718's absence and a strong prior-year Macan Electric. China dropped 33 percent, with Porsche prioritising long-term brand health over volume, while Germany fell 7 percent.

Porsche highlighted the strong share of GTS, Turbo and GT derivatives, especially in the 911 range. For enthusiasts, it confirms that demand for the most special sports cars remains firm even as the wider market softens.
