Pagani chose the Goodwood Festival of Speed for the world debut of the Huayra 70 Derecho, a few-off creation from the Grandi Complicazioni bespoke division in San Cesario sul Panaro. It is the middle chapter of a three-car Huayra 70 series built to celebrate founder Horacio Pagani's seventieth birthday, and its name borrows from the derecho, a fast-moving band of storms known for violent straight-line winds.

The paintwork tells the story. Pearl Orange dominates the main body, while a transparent Inky Blue tint across the lower sections lets the signature fish-bone carbon weave show through, a treatment that continues onto the exposed monocoque inside. Solid-milled aluminium pieces anodised in Glossy Titanium are set into the bodywork, and the bespoke Huayra 70 Titanium wheels share the same finish.

The cabin pairs Ceramic White and Tricolore Blue leather with contrast stitching, with Pearl Orange picked out on the steering wheel's twelve o'clock marker and the gear knob. Pagani's announcement does not include power, production or pricing details.

The Derecho shared the stand with a Zonda F Roadster and a Utopia Roadster, while a Huayra Codalunga Speedster and a Tempesta-equipped Huayra R tackled the hill. With one Huayra 70 still to come, collectors following the series have a final reveal to anticipate.
